She’s been in “Little Gals,” “Big Very little Lies,” and “Star Wars,” and far more a short while ago won an Academy Award for most effective supporting actress in 2020 for her overall performance in “Marriage Tale.” That exact movie star also was viewed dining in Poughkeepsie on Tuesday.

Laura Dern, who is prepping for the premiere of the forthcoming “Jurassic Entire world Dominion” motion picture this June, was spotted at Savona’s Trattoria on Collegeview Ave, in the vicinity of Vassar College or university. She was eating with her daughter and friends.

“I noticed her right absent when I gave her the menus,” said floor manager Erin Cayea, who informed the other team about serving Dern as she dined on the Italian restaurant’s patio.

Cayea, a admirer herself, explained Dern as a “sweetheart.”

Cayea stated: “You under no circumstances know, in some cases people today want to be left by itself, but she was really kind.”

Ahead of Dern still left the cafe, Cayea requested for a photo. “I was anxious about it, but she created me really cozy as soon as I talked to her,” Cayea reported.

Dern is not the only star to have visited the Queen City locale of Savona’s, which also has eating places in Kingston’s Rondout District and in Red Hook. Emmy Award-successful actor William H. Macy of “Shameless” on Showtime savored a food there in April 2021.
