Gr8 Plate Hospitality (The Union Kitchen and Jax Grill places to eat) is all set to unveil its most ambitious job to date: Passerella, a new Italian restaurant set to open up following week at Boardwalk Towne Lake in Cypress.
Homeowners Paul and Doris Miller declared this week that Passerella will open to the community on May well 17. The restaurant, 9945 Barker Cypress, is positioned up coming to sister cafe The Union Kitchen area, will function 160 seats (indoors and on patio) with waterfront views.

“We are very thrilled to see this undertaking appear to fruition,” Paul Miller explained. “For us, it’s about bringing collectively the freshest elements we can obtain to make a menu that is distinctly various than anything at all we have completed in the earlier. Our hope is to produce an elevated eating knowledge that complements the wonderful views identified at Boardwalk Towne Lake.”
Passerella’s menu is under way of govt chef Edward Roberts working with Gr8 Plate chef James Lundy. The menu features antipasti fritto misto (fried calamari and shrimp) whipped ricotta served with polenta crisps arancini and charcuterie boards of cured meats, artisan cheeses, olives, blended nuts and rustic property-designed bread. There are also soups and salad and entrees these kinds of as pan-seared branzino with pesto product sauce served with spinach risotto herb-crusted lamb tenderloin with a few-cheese polenta sauteed Gulf shrimp and lump crab in an Alfredo sauce in excess of fettucine mushroom pizza built with a bechamel sauce, mozzarella, herbs, and white truffle salt and bucatini with meatballs.

Passerella will be open Monday by Thursday 3 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 3 to 11 p.m., and Sunday 3 to 9 p.m. (shut Tuesday).
