FOREST HILLS, Queens (PIX11) — A Queens person arrested on Wednesday allegedly gunned down a delivery worker since of a months-lengthy vendetta more than a Chinese food items get, officers said. 

Glenn Hirsch, 51, allegedly spent months stalking and harassing staff from Fantastic Wall Restaurant prior to fatally taking pictures Zhiwen Yan, 45, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz claimed. Yan was shot just times after dropping off an purchase on April 30. 

“As alleged, a petty dispute over a consider-out get grew to become an obsessive stage of competition for the defendant who began to stalk and harass employees at the cafe for months,” Katz reported. “The tragic close result was the murder of a hard-doing the job worker, who remaining guiding a devastated family members and a grieving community.”

Hirsch’s rage was kicked off on Nov. 30, 2021. He ordered food items and questioned for added duck sauce packets, which workers at Excellent Wall Chinese Cafe on Queens Boulevard gave him, but “the defendant turned irate, however, and argued with personnel at the eatery,” officers stated. 

The Queens man demanded a refund and wanted to return the meals, according to the indictment. When staff refused, Hirsch called the law enforcement. Officers arrived and workers stated to them that they could not accept food back since of COVID.  

Hirsch stormed out, but he allegedly came back continuously and threatened workers. On Dec. 16, 2021, Hirsch allegedly made use of a knife to harm a restaurant worker’s automobile.

Personnel followed him, confronted him and pulled down Hirsch’s mask, according to the indictment. A person took photographs of Hirsch’s face and of the license plate on his parked SUV.

The employee backed away, but Hirsch allegedly fired a single shot to Yan’s chest, killing the shipping and delivery worker. Hirsch fled, heading to his wife’s apartment.

Hirsch was indicted by a Queens County grand jury Thursday on murder, stalking and other expenses. He faces involving 29 2/3 to 44 several years-to-life in prison, if convicted.
